Speed of Light

My life is going so fast. I remember being a little girl and dreaming about high school and driving and how it all seemed so far away. Now it's here and it's flying by.

It's already winter again. Almost 2011.

Consumed.

It's all I can think about. I tell absolutely everyone. I can't wait, I'm so anxious.
I'm getting my braces off on November 22.

Blessed.

I am unbelievably blessed. I have everything going for me, and sometimes I don't even realize how good I have it.

I have a loving family who is always there for me. I've never expierenced the pain of someone close to me dying. I live in a nice house and have nice things. I'm smart and don't have anything wrong with my brain. I don't have any health problems. I have friends that I can talk to and hang out with, including Hannah Lange who recently dedicated a post to me ( www.mylifeashannahlange.blogspot.com )

Sometimes I get upset and think things that are more on the sad side, but really, I'm a happy person. I like my life and I wouldn't want it to change.

Sad

The cold weather and cloudy days always make me feel a little sad. It's a weird feeling; I don't know if sad is the right word to describe it. A longing, almost. Longing for sunnier, warmer days. Don't get me wrong, I'm not wishing for 89 degree days. But somewhere around 73 would be nice.

Easton is opening up a new H&M store and I'm really excited for that. I love that store, but I don't own anything from there because they didn't have one anywhere near here. The new and improved Forever 21 is opening up soon (maybe this week?) too and I can't wait.

One thing I can wait for: report cards. Yikes. My grades are decent, but not where I would want them to be. I have an A in bio, and B's in everything else. It's so weird, I always hated science but I always seem to have the best grade in there (with the exception of Mrs. Kuhl's 8th grade physical science).

Fall

I love, love, love the brisk fall air and wearing warm sweaters and boots every day.



I did pierce my ear. I love it. It hurts under my marching band hat though. I've joined Key Club and Spanish Club and I'm going to play lacrosse in the spring. I'm also writing for the school paper. Needless to say, I'm pretty busy.

Summer Went So Fast

There's exactly 13 days left of summer. School starts the 30th. I'm not looking forward to it. Usually I'm excited to go back to school, but not this year.

As an employee of the Pickerington Community Pool (which really isn't a community pool at all because you have to pay 7 bucks to come with a guest or be a member, dumb.) I've saved two young lives this summer. Haha, I was so proud of myself.


MY PLANS FOR THE REST OF SUMMER:

since the pump at the pool broke I don't have to go to work tomorrow. I'm planning on going to the orthodontist who willl tell me it's only a few more months until I get my braces off just like he's been telling me for the last 18 months. after that depressing news my grandma and I are going to go to my favorite store, TJ Maxx. I have to get my best friend a birthday present.
after that I'll spend the day with my grandma until my mom gets off work and takes me to get my ear pierced. I'll post a picture.

I work all day Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12-4 on Friday. $$$$$ I'll probably hang out with someone this weekend.

Then the week of the 23rd I have band Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

I plan to spend the rest of my time vegging out before I have to go back to my busy schedule of band, school, clubs, and homework. Blah.

summer

Oh, geez. My summer's been so busy. I've been going to swim practice every morning at 6:30am, working at the Pickerington Community Pool, band practice (actually, I haven't really been going because I've had to work..) and a billion other things. I have seriously only had one day this entire summer where I did absolutely nothing and that was June 10th, the day after school got out. I just slept all day. But I like doing something all the time.
